Warming Water Possible Source for Death of Birds and Dolphins

Today the Peruvian government announced that 5,000 birds, mostly pelicans, and almost 900 dolphins have died near the country's northern coast. The beaches were declared off limits earlier this week as scientists hurried to find out what was causing so much harm to the animals. Non government groups were quick to blame oil exploration work. The Peruvian deputy environment minister Gabriel Quijandria disputed all those claims however, saying that warming waters may have cause a problem with the food supplies of the animals causing their death. Could it be Global warming?
