New smoking rules help those wanting to stop, says Andrew Lansley


The article discusses the possible deterrents and disincentives that have been generated owing to a ban in tobacco promotion in large shops throughout the United Kingdom. By ensuring that all cigarettes and tobacco products were concealed from public view and in turn, public conscious; it could dissuade young smokers from indulging in the tremendously detrimental and deleterious act of smoking. These restrictions were enacted upon after evidence illustrated that cigarette displays could embolden young people to commence smoking.
