More evidence links tanning beds to skin cancer

After an extensive study conducted by a team of medical researchers at Harvard Medical School, they have come to a unanimous conclusion that women who utilize tanning salons have an augmented risk of skin cancer. The study that was conducted from data obtained by nurses for over 20 years indicates that women who used tanning at least four times between high school and age 35 were 15 percent more likely to develop (basal cell carcinoma) skin cancer than women did not use them. This specific study vindicates and justifies the idea of warning the public against future use of tanning beds the argument for increased restriction on saloons themselves
