Researchers at Georgia Institute have come to find that DNA compaction is required for stem cells to be different when they are being create. With in the article it says that "Chromatin, which is composed of histone proteins and DNA, packages DNA into a smaller volume so that it fits inside a cell." As we learned this past semester, the differentatiation between cells is crucial to making stem cells especially.
