Marine Biology- Whales under stress?

A recent study shows that low frequency noise from ships is causing chronic stress for whales. The stress related hormone in fecal matter of these baleen whales allows researchers to compare levels before and after these "attacks" of noise on the whales. And an increase in stress has been shown, which is expected. A solution to this problem is still being debated.
