Studies have shown that people who are shorter have a better chance of living longer. For example, the elderly who are short tend to live longer but other factors like bone shrinking and such might also cause them to become shorter. There are factors like the Methuselah gene which both decreases your height but increase your longevity. Additionally you may live longer based on prosperous time, instead of growing up in a stressful period such as the great depression. Your height may be variable in how long you live, but there are always other factors involved.
