Why We Talk About Ourselves: The Brain Likes It

When we talk about ourselves, we get a biochemical buzz. In fact, we talk about ourselves 40% of the time in conversations daily. Once we reveal our personal activities, we get a trigger in the brain as a 'reward'. Humans can't help but do this, especially if we knew other people could hear us. This goes hand in hand with social networks such as twitter, and facebook.
