Marine Biology- Ocean Acidification

Human activity which include carbon dioxide emissions can and do alter the chemistry of our waters, causing them to become acidic. A recent study found that ocean acidification is increasing at a rate faster than it has been in the past 300 million years. We are warned to expect shifts in marine chemistry and biology to come, sooner than later.
