This article talks about how financially struggling mothers may overfeed their children especially if they suffer from depression. They can do this by adding cereal to baby bottles which leads to extra weight gain in infants. This is an important piece of information to support childhood obesity. This study was conducted in the United States from 254 mothers of infants with low income. Among them were Hispanics. According to the article, depression were 15 times more likely to add cereal to their milk bottles than those without depression.
