There have been recent discoveries made about fish behavior and how the rise of CO2 has affected their normal habits. A rise in CO2 in the atmosphere has also increased the acidity of the ocean. Like flipping a switch, the increase in acidity in the ocean can cause the normal response of nerve cells in fish to reverse. This can affect the salt and temperature regulation in their bodies, as well as greatly affect the brain. There have been controlled experiments with young fish, and because of their success, scientists want to see what they can find in adult fish. There is so much to discover about the affects of CO2 on the oceans.
