Marine Biology- Cephalopod Camouflage

The Office of Naval Research has offered a $6 million dollar grant to the Marine Biological Laboratory to study and ultimately learn how some marine animals can change the color of their skin and pattern to blend in with the environment. This would be a huge leap forward for engineers, to blur the line between material and machine, and could create the ultimate camouflage.
