There has always been talk of an elusive point of pleasure for women, but there hasn't been concrete evidence of its actual existence until now. A surgical dissection revealed a sac of erectile tissue in the front wall of the vagina. If this finding is correct, it could lead to new treatments of female sexual dysfunction. Though this 'structure' was found in one woman, there are still many who doubt that the 'G-spot' is really a singular structure. It is more commonly thought that the G-spot is more of a collection of highly sensitive tissues and nerves that release that pleasure. To many scientists, the presence of erectile tissue in the vagina is not strange, but to specifically call it the center of pleasure in the female will take much more research and tests.
