Vitamins, Omega-3s May Keep Brain From Shrinking: Study


This article discusses a study done on possible vitamins to combat brain skrinkage due to old age.  The study found that elderly people with high levels of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins B, C, D, adn E in their blood not only performed better on tests of thinkng abilities but also had a higher brain volume.  Researches claim that this study suggests that the nutrients work "in synergy" and the combination of the above provides a protective health to the brain in those of an older age.
