Sexual Selection Continues to Shape Human Evolution, With Men Becoming More Attractive
Scientists are saying that the survival of the fittest evolution still continues on today. Even with all of our advancements, natural and sexual evolution is still significantly affecting human evolution. While it was found that wealth was not a buffer of these effects, other factors such as sexual appeal do have an effect. Researchers have found that the sexual selection process is more important to males, because it increases the chances of reproduction. By becoming more attractive men are able to attract younger, child-bearing years, females, which then they have a much higher likelihood of passing on their genes.
