Early Study Finds Some Promise for Lung Cancer Vaccine




A new drug, Lucanix, has been found to extend lung cancer patients lives.  Special attention has been drawn to the extension of life within non-small cell lung cancer – in this study, the five year survival rate was 50% which is an unheard of success rate.  One researcher quoted in this article claimed that this vaccine is the most promising lead in life extension of cancer patients that has occurred within the past couple years.  http://news.health.com/2012/04/04/early-study-finds-some-promise-for-lung-cancer-vaccine/
