A Single Stem Cell Mutation Triggers Fibroid Tumors

A report from New Northwestern Medicine preclinical research has shown that a mutation in a single stem cell can trigger fibroid tumors which account for irregular bleeding, anemia, pain and infertility in 15 million women in the US.
