Obama’s Pledge to Reform Ethics Faces an Early Test

President Obama set out on a goal to “clean up both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue”.  He wants to make Washington ethically clean.  His goal was to bar lobbyist from his administration and bring in more ‘ethical’ people to be in his administration.  It was interesting to read this article because at the beginning of the year we talked a lot about ethics and what is right and wrong at the beginning of the year.  We discussed different ethic cases like Utilitarianism and Deontology.  It seems Obama is using utilitarianism to ‘clean’ up Washington.
