The Truth About Brushing Your Teeth

According to the American Heart Association, gum disease does not  increase risk for heart attacks or a stroke. In prior experiments, a connection was found that people with heart disease also commonly had gum disease.  However, correlation does not mean causation; many people with both both gum disease and heart
disease engage in the same activities that are high in risk factors, such as smoking, obesity, diabetic, and a high blood pressure.
