Tightening the Longevity Gap

By 2030, the average lifespan of men could equal those of women. For decades, men have had shorter life expectancies than their female counterparts. This is largely speculated to be from higher rates of smoking in men. According to a recent survey conducted in the UK, men are slowly catching up to women as smoking rates now go down.
