Leading a more active lifestyle could reduce your chances of getting Alzheimer's. According to a recent study, which followed the physical behavior of 716 elderly subjects, found that those in the lowest 10% for physical activity were twice as likely to develop autism later on. Individuals in the top 10% had a significantly higher chance of avoiding Alzheimer's. It has been postulated that exercise increases the circumference of blood vessels, promoting better blood flow, and number of neurons in the brain -- protecting the brain from cognitive degradation.
