30% of U.S. adults sleep six or fewer hours a day, but it is recommended we get seven to nine. This 30% is made up of people who have more then one job, widows, divorcees, or recently separated partners. Sleep deprivation has many consequences including obesity, depression, heart disease, and diabetes. Not to mention, it puts you at an increased risk of injury that could affect the public.
