Chinese scientists conducted a research and found that genes extracted from roundworms help create a healthy type of fat in their cloned sheep. This gene is linked to polyunsaturated fatty acids that increase the amount of unsaturated fat. This can help reduce the risk of heart attacks and other cardiovascular diseases. The lead scientists Du Yutao at the Beijing Genomics Institute reported that their subject which is the cloned sheep has been doing very well and is very healthy.
