Leading pediatricians, cardiologists, and child psychologists in the
United States who belong to a network of more than 1,900 healthcare
professionals have called on McDonald's to cease marketing their
products to children. The Ronald Macdonald style advertising and toys
with happy meals started coming under scrutiny some years ago and the
pressure is growing against the junk food behemoth.
