Millions Of Dry Eye Sufferers May Benefit From Caffeine

Many people suffer from dry eyes.  There is a new study being done at the University of Tokyo School of Medicine that is helping to prove that intake of caffeine can actually help with dry eyes. Dry eyes effect many people over the age of 50. A regular intake of caffeine could help the eye produce more tears. Caffeine is known to increase other secretions, such as saliva, so the team knew it was likely that caffeine would also help stimulate the production of tears. This discovery could be very helpful to those who suffer from dry eyes.
