In class we talked about human experimentation, in the 1950s-60s the CIA had MK-ULTRA program that slipped LSD into unsuspecting drinks. The US believed other countries were using LSD to brainwash Americans and didn't want to be behind developing and responding to it. They slipped the LSD into drinks then followed the citizens around without intervening to watch their actions.The drug was eventually made illegal even though they drugged hundreds of Americans without their knowledge or warning them what would happen.
