A secretary in New York donated her kidney in order to save the life of her boss. Shortly after the kidney donation the secretary was fired. Now, the secretary is demanding her kidney back. Even though many people are willing to donate his/her organs there are some consequences. In the case of the secretary she did not think through about her organ donation. She may have donated her kidney in order to please her boss and make sure that her position in the company was safe. However, the secretary may also have been pressured into donating her organ by her boss. This article makes one truly think about why you are donating an organ, because once you have donated it you cannot get it back.
