Some Schools Don't Let Kids Carry Asthma Inhalers

As the title suggests, various states and districts have their own laws and many do not allow their students to carry their inhalers or other vital medications with them in case of emergency. Many students die from asthma attacks in a year, but these deaths could be prevented by allowing the children to carry their inhalers with them. This article suggests steps for parents to take to lift the schools' ban on medications. Parents can take action by simply talking to the school nurse or discussing the issue with the school principal.
