Mayo Clinic, state urge parents to vaccinate infants

A Minnesota health commissioner and Mayo clinic pediatrician is telling the public not to wait to have their kids vaccinated. Vaccinations are still critical because in long term vaccination of the public has kept the diseases away for those who have not been vaccinated. Recently parents have gotten an attitude about it and don't think its necessary to vaccinate their children. They used the example of a 5 week old baby that was infected with pertussis from an older sister's classmate. Just because you choose not to vaccinate your children you can put other children at risk.
