Since 1978, scientists have been scheming about algae a source of fossil fuel. With a high oil content and a taste for harsh living condition, algae must just be the answer. Algae oil can be extracted and turned into gasoline, jet fuel or diesel. However, the large question is the expense. Can we afford it?
