Pat Summitt has been coaching basketball at the University of Tennessee for 38 seasons. She just retired from coaching basketball after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 61. This will cause difficulties in memory and thinking, unfortunately with no cure. Summitt was thinking about doing a few more years but she started to lose her keys often and forget about practices. She decided to retire earlier than planned. Summitt is active in her foundation called Pat Summitt Foundation Fund that talks about Alzheimer's Disease.
