Clearly cancer is a disease that affects many of us indirectly and directly. It is a terrible thing that has made slow progressions in the past for treating and curing this disease. This article describes research that the University of Washing Medical School is making progressions (slowly but surely) in the mapping of the genetic material of cancer. This may not cure the disease but could could potentially prevent it. Doctors would able to identify the cancerous cells way before they became a problem which would make it easier to take necessary treatments that would treat this disease.
