Melanoma has increased in young adults because of wanting to be tan. There are a few different explanations why there has been an increase. People are using sunscreen less while they are out in the sun. The rise in cancer is related to the indoor tanning beds. To some people having pale or wrinkly skin is not enough to scare them away from cancer.
