Sleep curbs influence of obesity genes

A study has shown that  more sleep will decrease the effect of obesity genes. The study has shown people who get at least 9 hours of sleep have a better chance of controlling their weight through their behavioral actions. The study says that getting adequate sleep decreases the effects of genetic risk and allow the diet and exercise to surface more. Researchers also validated the fact that not enough sleep also correlates to higher BMI. Also sleep deprivation leads to more stress and more stress leads to more gene expression which may cause an increase in one's weight. So everybody make sure to get enough sleep because it can help you control your weight.
