Sound Memorization
Ever had a song stuck in your head? You experienced a form of auditory learning! Whether it was repetition, volume, the complexity or simplicity of sounds, your brain registered the song in a quick, effective, and durable way. When you listen to that song again, the same process occurs: you relearn it. Often times listening to it again enhances your memorization of it. The same applies for those who suddenly suffer from hearing impairment. They'll be introduced to a hearing aid that will help them relearn sounds, and often times their recognition and memorization of a particular sound will be stronger than before.
