Gaseous Emissions from Dinosaurs May Have Warmed Prehistoric Earth

A new theory has arisen that sauropod dinasaurs could have released enough methane, a green house gas, to warm the earth. This is because methane-producing microbes aided the sauropods' digestion by fermenting their plant food. These dinosuars were huge and widespread. Since some scientists are even worried about cows producing too much methane for the atmosphere, other scientists started wondering if these dinosaurs could have had an impact on climate.
