From Pigskin to Bacon: The Legal Issues Surrounding the NFL's Concussion Litigation
The NFL has received public scrutiny because severe head trama can lead to long-term mental distress. The disease is called Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy of CTE. Because of CTE many football player like Jamal Anderson and Floyd Little sued the NFL saying that they neglected handling concussion reculary during the games. CTE leads to emotional distress and there have been over 1,300 cases of the NFL being sued by football players.
