Brain Cell Death in Mice Inhibited

Researchers have found a way to inhibit brain cell death in mice. By triggering a buildup of misfolded proteins in the brain, the scientists found that these mice lived longer with only a small portion of their brain being affected. This breakthrough can potentially lead to a deeper understanding of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimers and Dementia.
