Pickle Juice Fights Muscle Cramps



Pickle juice is proven to be more effective than other fluids, including water, in stopping muscle cramps shortly after workouts.  The specific biology behind this odd mechanism is still unknown, but this study has sparked interest among researchers as to what the pickle juice does to stop cramps.  The study’s data showed pickle juice stopped cramps 45% faster than drinking no fluids and 37% faster than water.  Pickle juice may become the most popular fluid in training rooms in the near future.
