Not Enough Good Sleep= more depression

A study has shown that people who suffer from sleep apnea are at a greater risk for depression. This is kind of similar to the cause and effect relationship between lack of sleep and depression because the people who have sleep apnea have the signs of depression such as the inability of not able to think straight. However this is not a cause and effect between sleep apnea and depression and it is only an association. What is also alarming that sleep apnea is underdiagnosed which is not good for people who are potentially not getting enough sleep. Overall the bottom line depression and sleep apnea is being associated is because of frequent interrupted sleep.
