Exercise Slows the Aging Process

This study involving mice showed results that concluded exercising reduces the effects of aging.  In the experiment, a group of mice were not allowed to exercise and died at a human equivalent age of 60.  Another group of mice were allowed to run on a wheel frequently and at the human age of 60, these mice still had characteristics of much younger mice such as fuller, darker fur and they also maintained their muscle mass and brain volume.
