Scientists have found that babies born by in vitro
fertilization have a higher chance of being born with a defect. Those babies
that are conceived by IVF have a 37% higher risk of defect than babies born
through natural means. The studies done haven’t concluded why IVF babies are at
higher risk of defect over naturally conceived babies.
