Weighing the Risks of Epidurals

Epidural which consists of narcotics and anesthetic are used to relief pain during labor for women. It is a controversial case because for a very long time, doctors have been claiming that it is healthy for women. They believe that it causes women to be more likely to have fevers during labor. Other studies have also shown that one out of five women that take epidurals for labor develop a fever of 100.4.
