Gender Effects on Skin Cancer

A series of 4 tests showed that women may have up to 30% better chances of surviving melanoma than men. The symptoms at diagnosis and the speed of the diseases progression were significantly more severe for men than for women. However, it is unknown whether this is caused by genetic differences between men and women or behavioral issues that separate men and women.
