Researchers at McGill University have found that their test subjects with the genotype 9P21, which puts carriers at high-risk for heart disease, who consume high quantities of raw fruits and vegetables have a drastically reduced risk for heart attack compared to fellow carriers who do not consume fruits and vegetables regularly.
