Instant noodle's soup base contains MSG (monosodium glutamate) that could be toxic if boiled. The glutamate can be chemically changed to glutamic acid under high temperature. The wax that was used to coat the fried noodle is also hard to digest. The correct way to cook noodles should include discarding the first water used to cook the noodle to remove the wax, boiling another water, and adding the soup base only before serving.
