Brain Scans Reveal Dogs' Thoughts

Dog face expressions have led scientists and researchers to ponder what they are thinking for a very long time now. Scientists decided to scan the brain of a canine. Berns is a director at Emory University Center and trained two dogs to walk and stay completely still inside a functional magnetic resonance imaging scanner that looks like a cube. By learning from the fMRI scans of the dogs’ brains, they see potential in training dogs to work with the U.S. Navy just like the U.S. Navy dog that was a member of the SEAL team that killed Osama bin Laden.
