Value of screening for kidney disease unclear

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/04/19/us-kidney-disease-idUSBRE83I16320120419

This article is relevant to class in two ways. One is that it relates to the topic of the urinary system, and the second is that it gets into part of the debate that was had over testing for diseases. The article is primarily about early screening for kidney disease, and how it may not actually do any good. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the discussion for 'false positive results.' If there was always a possibility that even when told I was going to get kidney disease it had been from a false positive, I would be very upset. Getting put through that much worry only to find out it was a false would be terrible.
