Should we continue the use of BMI?

BMI has been used for many years to determine if a person is underweight, normal, overweight, or obese. Some people think that the use of BMI as a weight measurement should be stopped. There is research that is showing that the use of BMI might be leading us to underestimate the amount of obesity. About 4 in 10 adults who are considered overweight according to the BMI measurement would actually be considered obese if body fat was taken into that measurement.
