Thankfully, the disease the article discusses isn’t
increasing in occurrence. The disease, necrotizing fasciitis, creates
flesh-eating bacteria which basically creates dead flesh that continues to rot.
No mention of zombies is made in the article, but as long as doctors get to the
patient in time and cut away all trace of the deadened flesh, the patient can
make a full recovery.
