Crime has sharply declined in the last decade, and some if
not all of this decline is being attributed to an increase in abortions. This claim hinges on the major idea
that children that would grow up to commit crimes are never being born. Statistical data exists to back up this
statement such as states with the highest abortion rates also have the largest
drop-offs in crime. The economic
benefit of this is estimated, by economists, to be around the neighborhood of
$30 billion annually.
